In parallel, GHR activation engages the MAPK/ERK and PI3K/Akt pathways.

In adipocyte models, GH directly stimulates hormone-sensitive lipase activity and triglyceride hydrolysis. In hepatocyte models, GH-induced STAT5 signaling is the main driver of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 expression.

• Cellular proliferation and metabolism: chondrocyte, myoblast and adipocyte culture systems examining GH-dependent growth and metabolic signaling.

Storage and Handling

Store lyophilized HGH refrigerated at 2-8°C, protected from light. Reconstitute by adding the diluent slowly down the side of the vial and swirling gently. Do not shake, because agitation can denature or aggregate the protein. Bacteriostatic water is not included; Hospira Bacteriostatic Water 30mL is available separately.
